Dr. Tom Colina, DMD, MS OFPOM
Dr. Tom Colina received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Manitoba in 1989. The first four years in practice were an excellent learning opportunity, as he worked at a multi-specialty clinic, the National Defence Headquarters Dental Clinic in Ottawa, Ontario. In 1993, Dr. Colina returned to Winnipeg and co-established the Ellice Dental Group, and eventually the Pearl Family Dental and Integral Dental Clinics.
Always welcoming innovation and striving for constant improvement in the delivery of care, Dr. Colina was the first general dentist in Manitoba certified to provide Invisalign® in 2002. Another first was the acquisition of the E4D /CAM milling machine, which allows quality crowns provided to patients in a day. To better treat patients with pain conditions, Dr. Colina completed the Master of Science Degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Colina has also been involved in organize dentistry, being a past president of the Manitoba Dental Association. He has taken part in or has led dental humanitarian missions to Peru, the Philippines, Guatemala, and Zimbabwe.
Dr. Colina is a part-time instructor and lecturer in the Dental Diagnostics and Surgical Science Department of the University of Manitoba's Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry. He has earned Fellowship status in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. In addition to being a member of these organizations, he is also a member of the Canadian Dental Association.

Dr. Wayne Nguyen, DMD, BSc PHARM
Born in Vietnam and well-versed in speaking Vietnamese, Dr. Nguyen (Wayne) T. Nguyen graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He completed his hospital pharmacy residency training in 1992. Following that, Dr. Nguyen continued to pursue his dental career. He obtained his dental degree in 1998 from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Nguyen is a part-time instructor in the University of Manitoba Dental Faculty.
Dr. Nguyen is committed to providing exceptional dental services, and has continuously updated his skills and knowledge by participating in various dental continuing education courses. One of his goals is to provide information to patients so that they will become more knowledgeable about their dental health. This will allow the patients to take an active role in improving their dental health and in turn their quality of life.
As a general practitioner, he delivers a comprehensive range of dental services from family dental care, orthodontics (braces), restorative dentistry, and implant dentistry, with special interest in composite veneer rehabilitation and minimal intervention dentistry. He treats his patients with gentle care and finesse – just like how he will treat his loved ones. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Manitoba Dental Association, and the Winnipeg Dental Society.
During his time off he enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Benjamin Yue, DMD
Dr. Benjamin Yue was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended the University of Manitoba and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with distinction in 2001. Always wanting to pursue a career in the oral health profession, he earned his doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry in 2005. He was an accomplished student on the Dean’s honor list and had achieved multiple student achievement awards. His pursuit of knowledge has led him to complete many advanced continuing education courses including programs in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He has completed the Advanced Rondeau System Orthodontics and Progressive Orthodontic System programs. Most recently, he has completed the Level II University of Minnesota Postgraduate Program in Contemporary & Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Yue enjoys contributing to charitable causes. He has been involved in sponsoring many worthwhile events. His most proud professional moment was being involved in a dental mission to the Philippines where general dentistry was provided to underserved areas in Quezon City and Tacloban. He is currently a member of the Canadian Dental Association and Manitoba Dental Association, of which he is an active member of the IT committee.
Dr. Yue is often described as a caring and calm dentist. His gentle demeanor makes dental appointments a more enjoyable experience. He is committed to providing excellent dental care with a sense of caring, comfort and kindness. “I am dedicated to help patients understand and achieve a healthy smile that they are confident with. I treat every patient with the same care that I would provide my own family.”

Dr. Phong Luong, DMD, BSc DENT
After completing his four years of Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Dr. Phong Luong graduated with honours for Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Phong Luong received several awards, including the American Association of Orthodontics award and the Dr. John Earl Abra Scholarship in Orthodontics for achieving the highest standing in 4th year Orthodontics.
In addition, Dr. Luong also received the Dr. M.H. Garvin Prize and the Josephine and Louis Green Scholarship for attaining the highest standing in Periodontology in 3rd year dentistry and the Mary Jane Ego Scholarship for attaining the highest standing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 4th year.
Dr. Phong Luong is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Manitoba Dental Association. He participates in continuing education throughout the year - both locally and abroad - in order to maintain a high level of knowledge of current dental technologies and treatments. Dr. Luong is passionate in helping his patients and is dedicated in providing quality dental care for patients of all ages, including children. He practices all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative dentistry, children's dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, and prosthodontics (dentures, crowns, and bridges). Dr. Luong is available during evenings and Saturdays and welcomes all new patients!

Dr. Tricia Magsino-Barnabé, DMD
Dr. Tricia Magsino Barnabé is an active member of the dental community, having volunteered her services to Open Wide (a day of providing free dentistry for those in need) and to the Manitoba Dental Association Communications Committee. She founded and chaired the All-Dentists Musicals Group to establish a successful fundraising musical theatre production for Prairie Theatre Exchange. For these efforts, she received the 2012 Manitoba Dental Association Recognition (for significant valued service to the dental profession and the public as a committed volunteer).
Other awards include the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award (for special interest and achievement in community dentistry externship and dental public health) and the Martin Neville Award (for high academic standing in children's dentistry and a demonstrated high level of care, judgement, and treatment of pediatric patients).
She has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Cancer Care Manitoba.
Dr. Tricia Magsino Barnabé is the daughter of Dr. Romulo Magsino and Mrs. Patria (Leah) Enverga Magsino. She is married to Dr. Norman Barnabé and they have two daughters.
Additionally an accomplished singer/actress, Dr. Tricia Magsino Barnabé was the first champion of the Tuklas Talino Talent Competition. She has appeared in radio, television, Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, and musical theatre, most notably as the lead role “Kim” in Miss Saigon (Rainbow Stage). You may recognize her face in the Manitoba Dental Association television commercials, bus tails, newspaper ads, and Safeway checkout grocery separators. Tricia was one of three featured performers handpicked by Father Fernando Suarez to headline the HEAL LA concert at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in California for an estimated crowd of 15,000 people.

Dr. Suzanne Carriere, DMD
Suzanne is a proud alumnus of the University of Winnipeg, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. She continued her studies at the University of Manitoba graduating with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2000. Suzanne has over 10 years of experience in both private practice and community dentistry. During this time, she has worked at the Centre for Community Oral Health, which had her travelling to the remote regions of Baffin Island. She has also worked for the Winnipeg Regional Health at the Smile Plus program, which services underprivileged children and Mount Carmel Dental Clinic with the New Immigrant Program.
In addition, she has also taught at both the Red River Community College and University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry. While also maintaining a private practice, she volunteers at the Open Wide and Mentorship Program through the University of Manitoba and the Manitoba Dental Association. Suzanne enjoys working with families and this is reflected in her general practice, which includes general, cosmetic, pediatric, oral surgery, endodontic, and prosthetic dentistry.
When she is not busy at work, she enjoys running, traveling, camping, and canoeing with her husband, daughter, and twin boys.

Dr. In-Ah Kim, DMD
Dr. In-ah Kim received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba, College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kim has numerous hours of her time volunteering. Ever since graduating high school, she has volunteered at her church as a Sunday school teacher. Before commencing her studies at the College of Dentistry, Dr. Kim spent several years volunteering at the Health Sciences Centre and Victoria General Hospital. During her schooling, she volunteered at events such as Sharing Smiles, Open Wide, Brushfest, and giving oral presentations at elementary schools.
Dr. Kim is bilingual, speaking fluent Korean and English. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, playing sports, and watching movies.

Dr. Mark Nepon, DMD
Mark puts his patients at ease with his casual chair-side manner, his well-rounded experience and professional attitude in dentistry.
Another successful product of Winnipeg’s north end, Mark graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1977. He initially worked at a busy downtown location, seeing hundreds of patients every month. During 1978 through 1989, Mark was also head of the Departments of Dentistry at St Amant Centre and Tache Nursing Centre. He has been married to Leslie since 1978 and they have two wonderful kids.
Mark maintains a special interest in dealing with the “anxious patient,” using techniques of conscious sedation...something that works extremely well with the young and the aged. Since graduation, he has been an active practitioner of cosmetic dentistry, an art that requires a delicate hand and a good understanding of the patient. Mark now applies a cosmetic focus to all phases of dental treatment.
